DJ and producer Dakred has officially released his self-titled debut album, DAKRED, as of February 21, 2025.

This deeply personal project blends melodic bass and dubstep to tell a story of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery—taking listeners on an emotional journey through the highs and lows of young adulthood.

“After years of evolving as an artist and a person, I realized that this album is my story, and it deserved to be self-titled,” said Dakred. “It captures the chaos, the beauty, and the lessons learned along the way.”

Each track reflects a chapter of Dakred’s life.

Starting with love, descending into heartbreak, and culminating in “Ready for Love”, a song about moving forward and embracing new beginnings.

Inspired by Alfred Lord Tennyson’s famous words, “It’s better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all,” the album captures raw, relatable emotions.

One of the album’s highlights, “Never Going to Be the Same”, delivers a deeply immersive experience, blending soaring synths and cinematic bass.

Other tracks, like “Illumination” and “Transformation”, showcase Dakred’s range, diving into heavier, darker sounds.

The album was crafted during Dakred’s recent tour, with each performance influencing the sound.
