EDM Revival Announces New Edition In Cologne

After a strong debut earlier this year, EDM Revival returns to Cologne with a new edition celebrating the golden era of festival anthems and big-room energy.

The first EDM Revival event — a special tribute night dedicated to Avicii — nearly sold out and confirmed what many fans already knew: the sound of the 2010s EDM boom still has a powerful place on the dancefloor.

Now the format returns with a new concept: EDM Revival (We Are Your Friends Edition), inspired by the spirit of We Are Your Friends and the culture that surrounded the rise of electronic dance music during the last decade.

Set to take place on April 4 in Cologne, the event will once again focus on the festival anthems and club records that defined a generation of dance music fans. Expect a night filled with iconic tracks from artists such as Swedish House Mafia, Martin Garrix, Hardwell, Calvin Harris and many others that dominated festivals and main stages throughout the 2010s.

The headline set of the night will be delivered by Nick Tribe, the DJ and creative force behind the EDM Revival concept. Known for high-energy performances built around mashups, festival edits, and nostalgic EDM anthems, Nick Tribe’s sets aim to recreate the atmosphere of peak-era festival moments inside the club environment.

EDM Revival is part of the broader ecosystem developed by Dance Music Tribe, a platform focused on connecting dance music culture across media, community, and live experiences. By combining digital reach with physical events, the initiative aims to bring together fans who grew up during EDM’s global explosion and still want to experience that energy today.

With its first edition already proving the demand for nostalgia-driven EDM club nights, the We Are Your Friends Edition represents the next step in building EDM Revival into a recurring format in Cologne’s nightlife landscape.
