Avicii’s Album Will Feature A Never Released Song

It’s been nearly six years since we lost Tim Bergling, the artist the world knew as Avicii — but somehow, the impact of his music hasn’t faded. If anything, it’s grown deeper.

Now, with the announcement of Avicii Forever, a 20-track compilation album set to release on May 16, 2025, fans finally get the tribute they’ve been waiting for.

Not a rushed posthumous drop. Not a cash grab.

But a curated reminder of just how far his sound traveled, and how deeply it still lives in us.

There are artists who define a genre.

Then there are artists who define an era.

Avicii was the latter.

From the euphoric energy of “Levels”, to the emotional storytelling of “The Nights”, to the genre-blending brilliance of “Wake Me Up” , he didn’t just make bangers.

He made anthems that healed.

He gave dance music a heart. And he gave a generation a sound to believe in.

One of the most emotional points of Avicii Forever is a track we’ve never heard — “Let’s Ride Away”, a previously unreleased collaboration now completed with vocals from Elle King.

Originally conceived with Kacey Musgraves in 2017, the song has been finished with the help of long-time Avicii collaborator Carl Falk, and it’s exactly what fans have hoped for: raw, melodic, hopeful, and heart-wrenching all at once.

It’s not just a new song. It’s a reminder that even in his silence, Tim was still building moments for us to feel.

We don’t need to tell you that Avicii was special. You already know.
What Avicii Forever gives us isn’t just closure — it’s proof that some artists never really leave.
Their sound just keeps echoing.

And maybe, if we listen closely, we’ll still hear him in the next sunrise set, the next bedroom playlist, the next unexpected moment that makes you stop, close your eyes, and just feel.

Avicii Forever. Because he always will be.
