It’s been three years since their last joint release, yet the synergy between Garrix and the Russian duo remains undiminished. “Butterflies” taps into their signature progressive house style—soaring melodies, cinematic tension, and cathartic drops—while reintroducing a fresh emotional depth.

Although the title evokes transformation, there’s no abrupt metamorphosis here; instead, the track feels like a natural evolution in their collaborative journey. Over the years, they’ve delivered crowd favorites—dating back to their 2015 debut “Dragon”—and “Butterflies” adds yet another milestone.

On “Butterflies”, the spotlight is shared: BARBZ lends vulnerable, reflective vocals that dance between yearning and uncertainty. Wrapped in layers of cascading synths and sweeping progressions, the production frames the emotional arc—from doubt to acceptance—with deft precision.

Debuted in Ibiza, Now Ready for the World

Live audiences got an early preview this summer when the track made its debut at Ushuaïa Ibiza—a fitting stage for what is essentially a festival anthem.

Now, “Butterflies” is ready for a global release—and for many fans, it will be among the most anticipated tracks on Garrix’s new EP, ORIGO.

Scheduled for late September, ORIGO completes a trilogy that began with Sentio and IDEM, each representing a chapter in his club-oriented evolution.
